Most places revered for their delightful beauty can be extremely boring for those who cherish and enjoy the nightlife. Staying out late, enjoying with friends (and at times, even with acquaintances), partying, dancing, satisfying late night cravings and taking a stroll through the empty, silent streets of the city can be soothing. There are some hip places across India that have a pretty good nightlife to offer. Here are 7 places that cater to the people who prefer a nocturnal zeal.
The financial capital of the country is one of the best places for those who cherish a nightlife. In the city of dreams, most of the pubs, the bars, the cafes, the lounges, and restaurants stay open past midnight with the music flowing out the door and into the streets. Some places especially open at midnight and run till the wee hours just for the night-loving people. The nightlife in Mumbai can be two-sided; throbbing with energy or quite pacific and relaxing. One can party late in the pubs/bars, go out to satisfy their hunger or just take a stroll by the Arabian Sea on Marine drive. It isn’t called the city that never sleeps for no reason; Marine Drive, Carter Road and the Gateway of India are crowded with people no matter what time it is.
One thing the people of Delhi know is how to enjoy life. The national capital is home to myriads of people who cherish the night and wish to stay out with friends. Being an educational hub, Pune is filled with hordes of young energetic people who await sunset. As the sun vanishes and dusk falls, these youngsters take to the streets to begin the fun night they have planned. Restaurants, pubs, discotheques, and lounges are abundant and offer musical concerts or stand-up comedy shows every night. Some prefer to just drive or ride around the city or towards Lonavala in the cool weather to slack off and cool down after a busy and stressful day. People in their 20’s and early 30’s crowd the fast food stalls on the streets to enjoy the tasty snacks.
Known as the Wine Country of India, Nashik is similar to the Napa Valley of USA. The wine from vineyards of Nashik has a high and superlative reputation. Being one of the top-notch vineyards in India; Sula Vineyards also host a festival called Sulafest. Sunburn Reload, an electronic music festival was hosted here as the nightlife in Nashik greatly improved in recent years.
The home to numerous I.T companies and start-ups, Bengaluru’s young minds know how to party. The engineers and tech-geeks can turn a silent night into a roaring and fun one. M.G Road in Bengaluru is the best place to experience the vibrant nightlife with almost 2-3 dozen pubs, lounges, and bars. The state capital offers an escapade for the party-goers; good food, good music by renowned artists and all in all a comfortable ambiance. Most of these night-crawlers are people in their 20’s, 30’s and even early 40’s who want to enjoy life to the fullest.
The union territory of Chandigarh is extremely fun to visit for its nightlife. The lively people of Punjab can surely handle their alcohol and dance through the night without breaking a sweat! Punjabi music is a paragon in Chandigarh and the beats urge everyone to join the excitement. The thrill of going clubbing in Chandigarh is at another level. The people always crowd at the bars and lounges as they offer a delightful ambiance, good music, and lip-smacking cuisines.
North Goa Beaches, Goa:
It is literally impossible to proceed with a discussion about nightlife without mentioning the ever-bustling beaches of North Goa. Radiant and enthralling nightlife is why people visit Goa. During the day, the churches, temples and beach activities are the main attractions, but as the sky darkens, everyone turns to clubs, pubs, bars, lounges and sea-side restaurants. The cheap alcohol and good music act as a trigger and even the shyest person can enjoy himself with utmost confidence. Most places here are open until the break of dawn with people continuously pouring in. Local delicacies like the Pork Vindaloo, Chicken Cafreal, Chicken Xacuti, Calamari, Sorpotel, Ambot Tik, and Mackerel Reacheado along with a pint of locally made Goan Feni really charge one up for the energetic night ahead of them.
The younger generation these days prefer to spend their day working off sweat at the job and then unwind with friends and colleagues at night. This lifestyle slowly progressing hence more and more cities are improving the quality of nightlife.
