We all have days when nothing seems right and everything insipid. Your energy is drained and you just want to stay in bed and cut off from everything in life. The days when everything is just too much or too less. This kind of emotion has to be made better, for us to function better. If we do not, it might continue for several days or even weeks which can lead to deterioration of our mental health. On such days few simple things can help you:
1. MAKE YOUR BED
As silly as it sounds, it works. Simple habits as it is, making your bed first thing in the morning makes you a little more disciplined each day. Not only will you feel better when your bed looks clean, it will make you check out a simple task which can always be done with precision. When you achieve smaller goals you will automatically believe that you can accomplish a lot one step at a time, making you productive.
2. TAKE A SHOWER
Again a thing that you do perpetually, but it counts. On those gloomy days where nothing seems right. A shower and change into fresh clothes will automatically make you feel slightly better. It will cleanse and refresh you from the previous day’s stress and wake you up even on the most sullen days. Showers are usually a sign of a fresh, revived day and typically even your mood will get an upliftment.
As much as everything might be falling apart for you at that moment, breathe and reflect on things. Detach yourself from your assignments, work whatever it is that keeps you busy. Get a little me time and maybe take a walk or go cycling or swimming. All of these actions will help your body release the tension and keep your mind from going in wayward directions. Even if you perform it for 10 minutes a day, you will feel yourself connecting more with your soul and mind.

4. MAKE A LIST
For a lot of people, noting down their day to day activities and making a list of things that they plan on doing makes them highly productive. Seeing your requirements and checking out your to-do list will keep you going and not give up on the day. Begin the to-do list with as simple tasks as eating a meal or not forgetting to drink enough water and gradually increase the size of your task. As you start completing each task you will want to continue further. The positivity will spring as even the smallest victories matter.

5. BE GRATEFUL
As minute as it may seem, we truly do not realize all the privileges we have. Be grateful for everything the sun, the water you drink, the friends and family you have. Your instinct will now be more aware of the surroundings and will help you move forward. The graciousness will lead to generosity in your day and mostly life as a whole.

6. SURROUND YOURSELF WITH LOVED ONES
As much as you might not want to socialize. It is always good to let out your feelings and spend some quality time with your loved ones. They will relieve you of your burden and instantly make your day better. The more positive, welcoming people you surround yourself, the more will it help you in your growth.
